This is the story of Scheherazade, the greatest storyteller in the world, who enchanted the cruel Sulton with her tales of wonder and thus preserved her life for One Thousand & One Nights
It is a tale of betrayal, loss and cruelty yet also of healing and eventual forgiveness. It gives us an opportunity to ponder difficult themes as we marvel at the wit & ingenuity of Scheherazade and to ask ourselves if we might be able to bring light into such a place of darkness and to forgive one such as the Sultan who has committed such terrible crimes?
